1.4529 is a super-austenitic stainless steel. It is similar to grade 1.4539 steel but has a higher content of molybdenum and nitrogen.
It has high crevice and pitting corrosion resistance in halogen environments. It offers excellent corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments. It has higher mechanical properties compared to AISI 904L.
