Maraging 300 is an ultra-high-strength maraging steel. It can be hardened through heat treatment and can achieve a high tensile strength of 1930 MPa after heat treatment. It is produced using VIM + VAR melting methods. It exhibits high resistance against crack propagation. It is used in high-stress components in the aviation and rocket industry. It provides long-term °service up to approximately 450°C.
