It exhibits good toughness properties even at temperatures below -253°C. The most important factor contributing to these properties is the low content of trace elements such as oxygen and iron. This alloy is produced through the VAR (Vacuum Arc Remelting) process followed by a secondary Vacuum Arc Remelting process.
